PrinterOn talks secure mobile printing at AirWatch Connect

  • Lanier Norville By

PrinterOn, the cloud company which was acquired this fall by Samsung Electronics, uses cloud technology to let users print documents from any mobile device, regardless of network or location. According to Tom Barber, who spoke to AirWatch for a previous blog post, the lack of a mobile printing solution has become a major pain point for enterprises. We can now run complex enterprise software on mobile devices and view, create and edit documents — so it’s reasonable to assume we should be able to print them too.

PrinterOn’s leaders thought so too, and to assure enterprise users that their sensitive documents wouldn’t get lost in the cloud, they partnered with AirWatch EMM to integrate enterprise-grade security into the mobile printing solution. We spoke to Denis Dreni of PrinterOn at AirWatch Connect Atlanta to learn more about the partnership and the latest innovations in secure mobile printing.
