The Radicati Group has released its fourth-annual Enterprise Mobility Management Market Quadrant. In the report, Radicati ranked AirWatch as a “Top Player” for the fourth consecutive year and reported that AirWatch owns the largest market share among the EMM vendors it evaluated.
The Radicati EMM Market Quadrant ranks vendors on two axes: market share and functionality. Market share is based on Radicati’s upcoming “Enterprise Mobility Management Market, 2015-2019” report which ranks vendors based on their install base. With more than 15,000 customers actively using AirWatch solutions today, AirWatch easily took the top position on the market share axis.
On the second axis, Radicati considered 14 functionalities and features, including mobile OS support, device-level analytics, partner ecosystem and data loss prevention. AirWatch scored nine out of 10 in overall functionality, a score that speaks to how AirWatch meets the needs of customers of many deployment sizes and structures across the globe.
Among the strengths reported, Radicati highlighted that AirWatch offers robust unified endpoint management capabilities for IT to manage all devices – including smartphones, tablets and laptops – from a central, unified console. Another strength Radicati noted was secure content viewing and collaboration through AirWatch Content Locker which integrates with dozens of repositories including Sharepoint, Box and Google Drive.
Radicati also cited AirWatch as “one of the most affordable EMM platforms available today,” proving that the AirWatch solution is also available at a reasonable price point.
