The three step solution enrolls, configures and secures students' devices

Today is the first day of the ISTE Conference & Expo 2015 in Philadelphia where more than 18,000 attendees will come together to engage in conversations about the possibilities technology brings to the education system.

At the conference this week, AirWatch (booth #3046) is showcasing many of its education solutions, including AirWatch Teacher Tools, integration with VMware Identity Manager and the new joint education solution with Intel for simplified mobile deployments in K12 schools.

The AirWatch and Intel solution is designed to offer both teachers and students a nearly zero-touch method to enroll certain Intel devices, making it easier to prepare devices for educational use. The joint solution provides schools an automatic and persistent MDM service that remains compliant with school mobile device policies. This joint solution solves many pain points for schools and IT departments that are deploying devices to tens of thousands of students.

The solution works in three steps:

The nearly zero-touch enrollment makes large-scale education deployments simple. Additionally, should a student purposefully or accidentally remove any applications or services assigned to the device, the entire enrollment process automatically reinitiates and reinstalls all services. This automatic and persistent MDM profile solves the many deployment and compliance challenges schools and districts face and ensures that devices remain managed and safe for student use.Simplify3

AirWatch will be sharing more information about this solution at ISTE this week. Stop by the AirWatch booth #3046 to learn more about the joint solution and the other AirWatch K12 education solutions.
