The education industry is studying up once again for the ISTE Conference & Expo 2015 conference this year in Philadelphia, PA. The 18,000 plus attendee event brings together K12 leaders in education technology including industry analysts, vendors, thought leaders, and innovators.  This year at ISTE, VMware and AirWatch will showcase their education solutions together for the first time, covering the desktop virtualization to mobility management classroom story.

In the video below, director for business development for education, Preston Winn summarizes the AirWatch by VMware outlook for the event and outlines new K12 technology initiatives across both organizations.

As Winn outlines, this year marks the first time AirWatch and VMware present together at ISTE. The AirWatch by VMware booth will also share details of the Limitless Learning campaign that is designed to extend educational instruction outside of the classroom through the use of AirWatch and VMware technology.

“The Limitless Learning program empowers students, teachers, and parents to expand the passion of learning and instruction beyond the classrooms and computer labs. With the daily societal focus on technology and information consumption, VMware and AirWatch are joining forces to offer curriculum content and deliver this information to any device regardless of age, OS or device type,” says Hope McIntosh, director of EUC sales for state and local government and education.

To illustrate the Limitless Learning platform, a digital storygraphic will be presented at the booth. The storygraphic is an interactive, visual representation of the VMware and AirWatch joint solution that highlights how desktop virtualization and mobility management are simplifying device management for IT, enabling teachers to manage classes and empowering students with limitless learning.

As enterprises across the globe are incorporating mobile technology into their organizations each day, education institutions are following suit. Mobile technology encompasses a large part of our daily lives and has created a digital age for today’s generation of students. As such, the need to incorporate mobility into educational curricula is being fulfilled and developed at conferences such as ISTE. ISTE’s speaking sessions align with these trends in sessions such as, “New Learning Environments: Inside and Outside the Traditional Classroom” and “Developing Your Mobile Learning Landscape: From Readiness to Digital Citizenship.”

Stop by the AirWatch by VMware booth #3046 to get a glimpse of our K12 education solutions that continue to evolve to meet the needs of digital classrooms.
