Samsung just revealed their newest flagship devices Sunday at Mobile World Congress 2016: Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. With enhanced Exchange email, a sleek and curved design, all-day battery life, speech-to-text functionality, secure copy-and-pasting and multi-window viewing, it’s the productive worker’s dream device.
IT wins, too. Flexible and customizable, Galaxy S7 and S7 edge simplify device management and are built to fit IT’s existing ecosystem of partners and providers across every industry. Samsung’s new flagship devices are built on KNOX defense-grade, hardware-based security, which gives IT full, granular control over work apps and company data no matter where and how they’re accessed. KNOX also provides IT with seamless and powerful security updates so the solution evolves with emerging mobile security threats, and dedicated tech support rounds out a comprehensive solution that’s much more than just a device.
In fact, Samsung developed these enterprise-ready phones with companies’ biggest challenge in mind: keeping security up to speed with the pace of digital transformation. Mobile devices for work are quickly moving beyond just phones to wearables, tablets and hundreds of mobile enterprise apps—much like the Galaxy ecosystem—and companies increasingly need scalable, out-of-the-box security so all of the technology just works.
That’s why the newest version of Samsung KNOX, KNOX 2.6, includes even deeper Android for Work support and integration for better IT app deployment and improved security. For example, IT can now allow Google Play profiles in the KNOX Workspace to control what apps users can access in the app store. KNOX 2.6 also encrypts Android for Work managed profiles with Sensitive Data Protection (SDP) and ensures device integrity with additional security enhancements.

And KNOX continues to offer comprehensive control and customization for IT, including integration with enterprise mobility management (EMM) solutions like the VMware AirWatch platform. Always ready to support the newest technology from day one, AirWatch will support Samsung Knox Workspace container management, and the AirWatch bulk enrollment feature will enable rapid deployment of Samsung KNOX through AirWatch.
