Don’t miss VMware’s EUC Insights virtual event

On June 17, VMware will host the virtual conference and tradeshow EUC Insights. Sessions will feature experts from the VMware Horizon, VMware Horizon DaaS and Airwatch by VMware teams. Throughout the half-day event (8 a.m. – 1 p.m. PT / 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. ET), VMware technology experts and strategic partners will lead sessions and demonstrations around topics such as empowering the mobile workforce, 3D applications, desktop virtualization and app publishing, and moving desktops to the cloud.

Attendees are  invited to structure customized half-days around the use cases and issues that interest them most. The keynote will feature discussions from Sanjay Poonen, EVP and GM of End-User Computing, John Marshall, SVP and GM of AirWatch and Sumit Dhawan, GM of Desktop Products, as well as a panel discussion lead by Tony Scott, VMware’s CIO. Breakout sessions will be organized into seven tracks. Each will include technical overviews and product demos.

In addition to customized tracks and the keynote, the event will include sponsored chat sessions, in which attendees can speak with technology experts first-hand about desktop-as-a-service, Horizon 6 and AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management. A 3D virtual tradeshow environment will include interactive booths staffed by VMware and industry experts, including booths from EUC partners Cisco, Dell, EMC, F5, Google, IBM, LiquidWare Labs, Nimble and VCE.

Following the keynote, AirWatch representatives will lead the following sessions:

AirWatch Enterprise Mobility Management Simplified

This session will provide an overview of the AirWatch platform, which includes industry-leading mobile device, email, application, content and browser management solutions. Attendees of this session will learn how organizations can implement these solutions across device types and use cases, including complete EMM for corporate and line of business deployments, and containerized solutions for bring your own device (BYOD) programs.

Secure Content Collaboration with AirWatch

This session will give an overview of AirWatch Secure Content Locker, which protects sensitive content on mobile devices in an encrypted container and provides users with a central application to securely access the latest sales materials, board books or financial reports from their mobile devices.

AirWatch Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Management

Attendees of this session will learn best practices for addressing device security, IT service, application and content use and other key components of an effective BYOD program.
