Join the AirWatch retail team next week to learn about best practices for mobility in retail. During the webinar, AirWatch retail mobility solutions expert Ed Durbin will highlight retail mobility trends and hot topics from the NRF trade show earlier this month. An AirWatch sales engineer will then demonstrate the latest AirWatch features for retailers.
During AirWatch’s Exhibitor BIG !deas session, “The New Retail: Real-time, Intuitive and Engaging Mobile Experiences,” Gap executive Roger Kibbe described the retailer’s use of AirWatch for its employees to look up real-time inventory while on the store floor.
As reported by Mobile Commerce Daily, Kibbe told the audience that “We’ve just scratched the surface of what mobile can do for retail. Mobility is a big part of change in customer experience in stores.”
A consensus emerged from NRF attendees that are experienced with mobility in retail: the idea of integrating mobile into retail is no longer just an idea. It’s being implemented into retail strategies because it is proven to enhance the retail experience for both employees and customers. Data analytics have been a hot topic for years and now retailers are learning to interpret the data and transfer findings to results.
From the AirWatch booth at NRF, Durbin said, “Last year was a higher focus on process and plan. This year was definitely the year of the customer.”
To hear more on retail mobility trends from the NRF booth and for 2015, don’t miss the webinar, “Explore Retail Mobility Best Practices,” next Thursday January 29 at 1 p.m. EST.
