Last month at Mobile World Congress, AirWatch was nominated and presented the award for “Best Mobile Cloud Services or App.” AirWatch was recognized as a valuable solution to the enterprise because it provides a solution to address both corporate and personally owned devices and has notable multi-platform capabilities.

In a press release, GSMA CEO John Hoffman congratulated all award winners for their “dynamic, creative and inventive thinking that will drive our industry towards the next 20 years.” The mobility industry has quickly innovated and grown to be a major part of society in the past 20 years and will determine much of future innovation.

English film star, John Cleese hosted the 20th annual Global Mobile Awards, presenting awards to organizations for mobile innovation across six different categories. Awards for the Connected Life, Mobile Services, App of the Year and Best Mobile Handset and Devices were given to over 40 different companies from across the world.
