  • Maddie Cook By

Beginning today, the AirWatch and VMware booth is ready for RSA! The four-day cyber security conference is hosted at the Moscone Center in San Francisco today through Thursday.

This year’s RSA theme is “Change: Challenge today’s security thinking.” To help meet this theme, AirWatch and VMware will be participating in several speaking sessions and events and will discuss the solutions that can help combat security concerns for end user computing.

Earlier this afternoon, VMware hosted a seminar called “Network Virtualization: An Inherently Better Security Model.” The seminar addressed the software approach to managing and securing a data center, As introduced in this video last week, NSX and micro-segmentation will be popular topics at the conference and in VMware and AirWatch speaking sessions.

On Thursday afternoon, Catherine Fan, product line manager at VMware and Joshua Soto, senior product marketing manager at VMware, will be presenting “Automating Security Workflows: The SDDC Approach.” During this session, Fan and Soto will elaborate on data center intricacies and security policies.
