Frost & Sullivan recently Awarded VMware the 2015 Visionary Innovation Leadership Award in end-user computing (EUC). The analyst Award recognizes VMware for its ability to provide a comprehensive, scalable and secure EUC solution that enables organizations to implement mobile initiatives. The report details industry challenges, including the need for one vendor to provide integrated solutions to fulfill organizations’ mobile requirements. According to the report, VMware accelerates the pace of innovation by providing customers the solution to execute next-generation business mobility strategies.

The Award highlights VMware’s focus and best practices that put the End-User Computing Business ahead of competitors in the industry. One advantage that Frost & Sullivan notes is that VMware’s EUC products, including Horizon and AirWatch, work alongside the VMware software-defined data center (SDDC) portfolio suite, providing customers the ability to efficiently manage data and applications in a unified hybrid cloud. Frost & Sullivan emphasizes that the innovative business initiatives of VMware have helped establish itself as “the company to watch in EUC.”

According to the Award, VMware solutions provide end users a seamless deployment and management across various platforms. The Award states “research indicates that no other organization has the required expertise, or the right set of technical assets, to achieve anything similar to what VMware is doing for unified asset management for enterprise IT.” Frost & Sullivan believes VMware will continue to grow by providing solutions that go beyond basic services to help its customers increase efficiency, while mitigating mobile security risks.

The Award summarized VMware’s EUC leadership, noting, “A mobile-cloud vision, the innovative desktop/apps portfolio, a global leadership in EMM, the power of the VMware SDDV and NSX products, and what is perhaps the world’s best team for EUC are the key reasons for the continued success of VMware’s EUC business.”
