First and foremost, thank you! AirWatch Connect Atlanta 2015 was a huge success thanks to all of you: customers, partners, analysts, speakers, experts and thought leaders. In its fourth year, we definitely raised the bar with more than 1,500 attendees—the most ever!—making AirWatch Connect the world’s leading business mobility event. Check out these video highlights:
HIGHLIGHTS FROM AIRWATCH CONNECT ATLANTA 2015
Attendees expanded their product knowledge in guided lab sessions with AirWatch experts, while others set their own pace with the popular self-service lab option.
Many stayed for the event’s optional day-four offering, earning AirWatch Certified status by attending one of the certification workshops.
Thought Leadership Keynotes & Analyst Insights
The who’s who in enterprise mobility took the stage to share the latest industry trends, company news and vision for the future of business mobility. Alan Dabbiere (AirWatch chairman and co-founder), Pat Gelsinger (VMware CEO), John Marshall (AirWatch co-founder, SVP and general manager) and Sanjay Poonen (VMware general manager end-user computing) shared their vision of the mobile future, the success of the VMware-AirWatch relationship and how Project2 and the AirWatch Privacy First Program are vital for the advancement of mobile enterprise.
Pat also announced 20 new members for ACE (App Configuration for Enterprise), notably SAP, which will work alongside VMware to enable secure, instant deployment and log-in for SuccessFactors and Concur on iOS and Android mobile devices.
New Innovations in the Internet of Things
Coca Cola’s global director of product management, shared the incredible story of how the innovative Coca Cola Freestyle project integrates groundbreaking dispenser technologies with AirWatch to satisfy the customer’s desire for customization and choice.
Windows 10 & Mobile Security Alliance (MSA) Announcements
AirWatch announced new features for Windows 10 support, including Azure Active Directory integration, health attestation, bulk provisioning and much more. The AirWatch Mobile Security Alliance launched, as well, establishing a group of industry-leading companies—including Palo Alto Networks, CheckPoint, FireEye and others—dedicated to combat enterprise security threats through EMM advancements and integrations.
Over 60 partners showcased their products and offerings, but also served as gracious hosts for networking events and the AirWatch store.

Noah Wasmer, Forrester’s Tyler Shields and TV’s Adam Savage
Noah and Forrester Research principal analyst Tyler Shields took the audience back to the old days, reminding attendees of just how far the worlds of mobility, security and computing have come in the past 10 years—and how they expect innovations to advance even faster in the next 10 years, ultimately shifting us into the modern era of mobility and transforming businesses.
And finally, after Adam’s amazing keynote on art, science and innovation, one of our brave customers, Ivan K., took the stage for a selfie with his TV idol.
