1. Apple launched powerful enterprise mobility features in iOS 9 & Mac OS El Capitan.

2. Microsoft took a giant leap toward unifying endpoint management with Windows 10 and Office 365.

With Windows 10, IT admins can take advantage of the full management capabilities from the same console on all Windows devices regardless if they are mobile devices or PCs. And with dozens of updates, new features and applications added to the operating system, here’s a list of the top 10 things IT pros should know about the Windows 10 release.

3. IT geared up for s’more enterprise features with Android Marshmallow and Android for Work.

4. Dell announced its intent to acquire EMC in what would be the biggest tech deal in history.

USA Today: “The combination of Dell and EMC will create the industry leader” in the $2 trillion information technology markets where they have complementary portfolio technologies and other resources, Dell said during the conference call. “This transaction also strengthens both companies in the increasingly competitive global marketplace.” Read Dell’s announcement here.

5. AirWatch 8, 8.1 and 8.2 transformed the business mobility game.

7. The thin line between laptop and tablet got even thinner with the Microsoft Surface Book and iPad Pro releases.
