In this blog, we answered seven common questions from customers about the Apple Device Enrollment Program (DEP). For example, what is DEP? What does DEP do for IT? What’s the role of AirWatch in DEP?
2. AirWatch 9.1 Release
With the release of AirWatch 9.1, we expanded UEM capabilities for the digital workspace across platforms, including Android enterprise, Windows 10, iOS and macOS, as well as purpose-built endpoints. We also introduced unified access control across cloud and intranet applications, plus other enhancements.
3. Gartner Magic Quadrant for EMM
We were pleased to offer free access to this 2017 report (still available to download) and announce that Gartner named VMware a Leader for the seventh consecutive year in enterprise mobility management (EMM).
4. AirWatch 9.2 Release
Our newest release of AirWatch UEM technology furthers the unified, in-depth management available for PC platforms, including Windows 10, macOS and Chrome OS. AirWatch 9.2 also enhances support for purpose-built and Internet of Things (IoT) devices.

5. Windows 10 Migrations
Our desktop expert Mark Margevicius shared his 10 best practices for migrating to Windows 10, based on his presentation to more than 500 people at VMworld 2017. His top tip? Understand that this migration is a transformation.
6. iOS 11 Feature Favorites for the Enterprise
Shortly after the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC), we shared three iOS 11 features we heard about that impact IT around DEP, VPN and security.
7. IDC MarketScape for UEM
VMware was recognized as a Leader in this new IDC MarketScape report analyzing UEM vendors. A free excerpt of the report is available to download.
8. Chrome Enterprise Management
Google launched Chrome Enterprise this year and, as part of this launch, also announced the compatibility of Chrome Enterprise with Workspace ONE. For IT, that means stronger security, reduced costs and end-user access to all apps.
9. Advancements in MAM
Early in the year, we announced new mobile application management (MAM) capabilities that sped up the process of setting up Workspace ONE and delivering apps to end users.
10. iOS 11 Support for the Enterprise
Once iOS 11 was publicly available, AirWatch was there right away to support new features like manual VPN creation, system app removal and AirPrint.
